BUYER MISTAKES
1. Listening to the advice of friends and relatives who are not in the real estate business or
not involved in the process of buying
2. If they have a house to sell - not getting it on the market when they start looking at homes
3. Fail to define and agree on their needs and wants (in writing)
4. Not getting pre-approved for financing which will unveil any problems with their credit
5. Make offers that are out of line with current market conditions
6. Use the home inspection report as a negotiaiting strategy to get a lower price
7. Looking at too many homes which creates confusion
8. Working with more than one agent
9. Making a major purchase that affects their credit status prior to closing on their new home
10. Not becoming familiar with the forms that they will have to sign when they make an offer
